The designers for the branded hotel within the MargaritaVillage development in Orlando, Florida, have been revealed: Nichols Brosch Wurst Wolfe & Associates Inc. (NBWW) will serve as architect, with interiors by The McBride Company and landscape design by SCI.
The 187-key Margaritaville hotel at the Jimmy Buffett-inspired development will include 20 suites; three restaurants and a grab-and-go outlet; a 7,000 sq.-ft. ballroom; four meeting rooms totaling 4,480 sq. ft.; and 99,000 sq. ft. of lagoon-style pools. The project is slated for completion in early 2017.
Encore Capital Management unveiled plans for the 300-acre MargaritaVillage last summer, but details on the complex’s hotel were not available at that time. In addition to the lodging locale, the 300-acre MargaritaVillage is set to include 170,000 sq.-ft. of retail, hospitality, destination dining and entertainment including an arcade, spa, planetarium, fishing school, paddle boarding, kayaking and six-acre themed water park. The development will also boast 1,000 residential units including a mix of resort vacation homes, luxury condominiums and apartments.

NBWW has been involved in restoration and redesign of several high-profile Miami-area properties, including the restoration of the Morris Lapidus-designed Fontainebleau, Eden Roc, Loews and the DiLido (now Ritz-Carlton South Beach). Most recently, NBWW served as the architect for the restoration and design of the newly opened Ian Schrager hotel, The EDITION Miami Beach, at the former Seville Hotel, in addition to the Opal Sands Resort on Clearwater Beach.
