DigitalGlobe (NYSE: DGI) released new satellite imagery of Hurricane Irma’s effects in Florida on Sept. 11.
The Westminster, Colorado-based satellite imaging company says the images show areas of Key West, including Geiger Key. “We would like to point out the striking difference in plant vegetation and beach erosion in the before and after Florida imagery,” a release said. CNN reports 25 percent of homes in the Florida Keys are destroyed after the hurricane made its way through the Keys early Sunday.
